(Seven Layer Dip)

Seven layer dip is a no-bake party dip made by layering refried beans, guacamole, sour cream, salsa, cheese, black olives, and green onions in a dish. Spread each layer evenly, chill 30–60 minutes, then serve with sturdy tortilla chips for the best scoops.

Quick Seven Layer Dip Recipe (5 Minutes)

Ingredients

  • 1 (16 oz) can refried beans
  • 2–3 avocados (or 1–2 cups guacamole)
  • 1½–2 cups sour cream
  • 1–1½ cups salsa (drained if watery)
  • 2 cups shredded Mexican-blend cheese
  • ½ cup sliced black olives (drained)
  • ¼–½ cup chopped green onions

Instructions

  1. Spread refried beans in a 9×9 dish.
  2. Layer guacamole on top.
  3. Spread sour cream evenly.
  4. Spoon on salsa (drain extra liquid first).
  5. Add a layer of shredded cheese.
  6. Top with black olives and green onions.
  7. Chill 30–60 minutes and serve with tortilla chips.

Tip: Drain salsa and olives to prevent watery dip.
